This was taken in Bachelor's Grove cemetary. This cemetary is supposedly one of the most 'haunted places in Illinois' however, after going there and getting no "evidence" in any of the near 50 photos I took... it was really just a horribly depressing place, not scary by any means.

Nearly all of the headstones in the graveyard have been horribly vandalized. None of the decor/embellishments of the headstones remain, as a guess they have been thrown into the nearby muck-covered pond.

It has become such a thrilling story that not only did I visit it with three friends, but we ran into four separate groups while being out there for at most, an hour. One woman even bringing her two children... for the same reason I went out there.

I don't know, it really put a damper on it. How depressing.

Anyway, this particular headstone was part of the Fulton family plot. The only other remaining headstone is the headstone of the Infant daughter... where many people over time have left toys for her.

All in all... just plain sad.
